Investigation Underway Into What Caused Snowmobile Crash That Injured Teenager

An investigation is underway into what caused a snowmobile crash in Merrimack County that left a teenager injured. The 16-year-old was riding on private property in Chichester Sunday when he lost control of the snowmobile and hit a tree. He was wearing a helmet, but still needed treatment for serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Officials are looking into whether rider inexperience played a role in the accident.
