Author Ernest Thompson’s work has won an Academy Award, two Golden Globes, Writers Guild and Broadway Drama Guild Awards and has been nominated for a Tony, an Emmy and a British Academy Award. His plays have been seen in theaters around the world, his most enduring, ” On Golden Pond,” translated into 30 languages and presented in more than 40 countries.
This Thursday evening March 23rd at 6pm, you can meet the Oscar-winning author and hear him speak about his debut novel ” The Book of Maps” at the Belknap Mill in Laconia. The event is free. The author joined Mike Pomp on the Morning Information Center.
