Police: Driver Clocked at 104 MPH

A 50-year-old Laconia man is charged with reckless operation after being clocked driving 104 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone.

A state trooper spotted Lucas Carter speeding around seven a.m. yesterday at the Route3/Route 11 bypass in Gilford.

Following a pursuit and his arrest, he was released on bail with a July 13th date to appear in 4th Circuit District Court in Laconia.
