House Fire In Franklin

Officials are investigating after a house fire broke out in Franklin yesterday morning.

The Franklin Fire Department said firefighters responded to the house fire just before 11 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, officials said they saw heavy smoke coming from inside the home.  The fire was under control in 15 minutes.

Officials said one person who was inside the burning home was checked for injuries but was later released.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
