The First Woman NFL Official on the Morning Information Center

From a young age, Shannon Eastin was strong, fiercely competitive and driven by the belief that she not only could but should be the best at whatever she set her mind to, including achieving her dream job: a referee for the National Football League.

Shannon became the first woman to work as an NFL official after taking on a lot of training and putting in a lot of hard work. Shannon joined Mike Pomp on the Morning Information Center to chat about her new book “ Lady Ref: Making Calls in a Man’s World.”

Mike Pomp is a broadcast veteran of New Hampshire with over for over five decades covering news and politics. He was recently awarded the 2016 New Hampshire Air Personality of the Year (his second award) and the 2009 New Hampshire Broadcaster of the Year by the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters.
