Former New Hampshire Senator Kelly Ayotte has endorsed Republican Jay Ruais in the race for mayor in Manchester.
Nashua resident Ayotte issued a statement describing Ruais as an experienced leader with a fresh vision for the city.
He’s also been endorsed by Governor Chris Sununu.
Incumbent Democrat Joyce Craig announced in March that she would not seek re-election for a fourth term.
