No Charges in Keene Deadly Shooting Incident

A Keene man who said he acted in self-defense when he shot and killed another man last year will not be charged.

Shane Frazier shot Kristopher Chagnon in May of 2022 during a confrontation.

The Attorney General’s office said there is evidence supporting Frazier’s self-defense claim as well as differing information from witnesses.

However, it was determined that prosecutors would not be able to disprove the claim of self-defense at trial.
