Parental Rights Bill Headed to a House Vote

Parental Rights Bill Headed to a House Vote
April 27, 2023

A parental rights bill is headed to the New Hampshire House for a vote as soon as next week.

Monday the House Education Committee deadlocked on the measure.

The Senate bill would require school districts to provide truthful answers to parents about their children’s activities and behavior.

Republicans say it would strengthen the relationship between parents, teachers and kids. Democrats argue it’s dangerous to LGBTQ+ students.
