Heart disease continues to be the leading cause of death for Americans, with cancer and COVID-19 rounding out the top three.

Many people neglected screenings and other measure during the pandemic but Cardiologist from Portsmouth Regional Hospital tells Good Morning New Hampshire is important to focus on these issues early.

“While many people put things on hold because of COVID, cardiac health can be preventable.  Basic things go a long way”, Dr. Christopher Lawson told Jack Heath.
