This week, NH State Senator Dr Tom Sherman, Democrat from Rye, announced his campaign for governor of New Hampshire and made clear that he will never support a sales or income tax on Granite Staters. Dr Sherman, speaking with Mike Pomp on the Pulse of NH’s Morning Information Center, said the real tax burden on families and businesses is property taxes.
Senator Sherman criticized Governor Sununu for giving tax breaks to the wealthy and out of state corporations over property tax relief for hardworking families. He said the last thing New Hampshire needs is more tax breaks for the wealthy.
