NH Governor Chris Sununu has released his own version of a Congressional redistricting map that he says he’d sign off on. The governor’s map would make the first Congressional District a better mix of Republican and Democratic voters and the Second Congressional District would lean towards favoring Democrats.
The Governor shared his plan on the Pulse of NH’s Morning Information Center.
The maps proposed by the Legislature would have more Republican voters in the first Congressional District and more Democrats in the second Congressional District. Sununu has already said he’ll veto that map if it gets to his desk.
