Travelers Face ‘Perfect Storm’ As Airlines Cancel, Delay More Flights

More than a thousand flights were canceled across the country today as the holiday travel nightmare continues.

“Between staffing shortages and the weather, it’s the perfect storm”, the Director of Manchester Boston Regional Airport told Jack Heath.

Ted Kitchens went on to say it doesn’t take much to throw a ripple into the system.

Over the past week, airlines have reported cancellations due to weather, staff shortages and flight crews having to quarantine due to the spreading Omicron COVID-19 variant.
