Upcoming Bills Making Waves in 2022

The New Hampshire Legislature will reconvene in the New Year the first week in January

They will begin with bills from last session that were unfinished .

“A look into what should be done, and what shouldn’t be done is our main focus”, State Representative Kathy Rogers told Good Morning NH.

A Criminal Justice bill is making some noise.   It’s called LGBTQ+ ‘panic’ defense strategy, it asks a jury to find that a victim’s sexual orientation or gender identity is to blame for the defendant’s violet reaction, including murder.

Rogers says all the bills up for debate are bipartisan.
