No Injuries, Pets Rescued Following Midday Friday House Fire in Salem

No injuries are reported after flames destroyed a Salem home early Friday evening.

Local authorities say firefighters were called to the home on Burns Road shortly after 6:15 p.m., arriving to see smoke pouring out of the burning home.

Everyone got out of the house before crews arrived.

However, firefighters had to rescue two pets that had been left inside.

Cause is under investigation.
