Police Searching For Whoever Vandalized Memorial For Fallen NH State Trooper

Police are looking for the man who vandalized a memorial for a fallen State Trooper, Jesse Sherill.

Police released a surveillance photo from Monday afternoon that shows a man with a ponytail driving away in a black hatchback.

The memorial for Sherill is on the Sherburne Road overpass on Interstate 95.

He was killed last October when his cruiser was hit by a tractor trailer on the highway.

Sherrill grew up in Barrington and worked at State Police Troop A, based in Epping.

Anyone with information about the vandalism can call Portsmouth Police.
