Prepare Now! Don’t Let Severe Weather Take You by Surprise

CONCORD, N.H. – Earlier this week, a tornado touched down in Charlestown, New Hampshire, reinforcing the importance of being prepared for all types of severe weather.

The National Weather Service issued a preliminary report confirming an EF-0 tornado, which occurred during a Severe Thunderstorm Warning on Monday.

The National Weather Service defines an EF-0 tornado as wind gusts between 65 and 85 MPH.

The line of storms also downed trees causing damage to homes and roads and creating power outages in several communities.

In a disaster there is no time to get ready, but you can plan ahead of time by making an emergency kit.
