Changing The Stigma Of Mental Health One Conversation At A Time

Whether you have struggled with suicide yourself or have lost a loved one, know you are not alone.

A mom from Loudon shared her personal experience with listeners on Good Morning New Hampshire and trying to change the stigma of mental health after losing her son to suicide.

Tina White lost her son Alec in November of 2017.

Alec’s family and friends are trying to keep his memory alive on a daily basis by supporting others through education and understanding that mental health is vital to our overall health.

This weekend, he would have turned 21.   In his memory and to celebrate mental health awareness, Tina has collaborated with a number of coffee shops to encourage people in Merrimack County to purchase a pink donut in his memory.  https://www.alecsantics.org/
