Laconia State School Developer Missed Deadline

The developer for the former Laconia State School missed Monday’s deadline to close on the property.

The state had accepted Manchester developer Robynne Alexander’s bid of $21.5-million-dollars.

The April 22nd deadline to close the deal or lose the deposit was set last month by Governor Chris Sununu and Commissioner of Administrative Services Charles Arlinghaus.

It’s now likely the state will put the more than 200-acre site back on the market and Alexander may lose a $200,000 security deposit.
