Northwood Town Administrator Charged with Attempted Murder

The Northwood Town Administrator is facing charges including attempted murder after being accused of trying to suffocate his former wife.

Prosecutors say 60-year-old Neil Irvine attempted to cover the nose and mouth of the victim with his hands back in September 2022.

His attorney tells WMUR-TV that Irvine isn’t guilty and that his client is an upstanding citizen.

Irvine was arrested earlier this week but is already out on bail.
