Police Ask for Help in Tuftonboro Motorcycle Crash

According to the Laconia Daily Sun, one person died, and another was injured because of a motorcycle crash last Thursday on Route 109 in the vicinity of the Abenaki Tower.

Officers found the motorcycle’s operator, John O’Brien, 55, of Tuftonboro, unconscious and significantly injured.

Also injured, but conscious, was a passenger on the motorcycle, 42-year-old Heather Cormier from Standish, Maine.

Both were transported to Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro, where O’Brien died. Cormier was subsequently transported by helicopter to Concord Hospital.
