Second Double Murder Trial Underway for Dover Man

The second murder trial for a Dover man charged with the 2017 murder of two women in Farmington is underway.

A mistrial was declared in the case against Timothy Verrill in 2019.

Channel 9 reported in opening statements Tuesday prosecutors said Verrill was a paranoid drug dealer who beat and stabbed Christine Sullivan and Jenna Pellagrini.

The defense claimed the state’s investigation was sloppy and incomplete.

Testimony was scheduled to resume Wednesday.
