UNH President Defends Clearing Campus Encampment
University of New Hampshire President James Dean defends his decision to clear a pro-Palestine encampment from the campus last week.
In a broadcast interview Monday he said protest organizers were not truthful when they said there would be no encampment.
Dean said if it had been allowed, it would be there now with commencement scheduled next week and no way to get rid of the protestors.
Members of the Palestine Solidarity Coalition accused UNH of silencing dissent.
