NH Congressman Uses Portsmouth Visit to Tout Federal Energy Initiatives
A New Hampshire congressman says federal assistance is on its way to help the state cope with ever-increasing real-estate prices.
U.S. Representative Chris Pappas was in Portsmouth Friday to look at a new, energy-efficient roof atop the city’s Feaser Apartments.
During his visit, he announced $1.2-million-dollars would be made available to help fund similar eco-friendly projects.
Portsmouth Housing Authority officials chimed in to tout the city’s efforts to add 1,500 new housing units by decade’s end.
