UNH Faculty Seek Investigation of Protest Response
The faculty senate at the University of New Hampshire is seeking an investigation into the university’s response to the recent pro-Palestinian protest that resulted in 12 arrests.
A resolution approved Monday describes as ‘disproportionate’ the reaction of the administration and police to the attempt to establish an encampment on the campus.
The Boston Globe reported the administration said state troopers responded to the May 1st protest at the order of Governor Chris Sununu and not at the request of UNH President Jim Dean.
