Transgender Athletes Bill Passed by NH Senate
A bill requiring public schools in New Hampshire to designate sports teams from fifth grade through high school as boys, girls or co-ed is headed to the governor’s desk.
It was passed Thursday along party lines by the Senate.
The legislation mandates that only students designated as female at birth can play on girls teams.
If Governor Chris Sununu signs the bill, New Hampshire will be the 25th state protecting girls-only sports from biological males.
