Sununu Asking for Federal Aid Following Storms
Governor Sununu is asking for the federal government to help out with covering costs connected to severe weather that hit the state earlier this year.
Sununu has sent President Biden a letter asking for a major disaster declaration to be issued for Rockingham, Strafford, Sullivan, Merrimack, Grafton, Coos, Carroll and Belknap counties.
That would give those counties needed funds to repair the over $6-million-dollars in damage caused by April’s storms.
One death was connected to those storms.
