Newbury Man Sentenced on Child Porn Charges

A 50-year-old Newbury man is sentenced to five years in federal prison for distributing child sexual abuse material.

Marc Jacques pleaded guilty in March.

Based on Internet evidence, authorities executed a search warrant in June 2022 and found over 200 downloaded files of apparent child sexual abuse material.

U.S. Attorney Jane Young said law enforcement in New Hampshire will continue to use every available resource to disrupt distribution of such material and imprison convicted offenders.
