Missing Hopkinton Child Quickly Located

A young girl who had been reported missing from a home on Maple Street in Hopkinton is safe.

Local police, state troopers and Fish and Game conservation officers began a search after being notified around 7 p.m. on Sunday.

With the use of a drone and a K9 team, the child was located less than 90 minutes later not far from her home.

Authorities said the girl was tired and cold but otherwise unharmed.
