Alexandra Eckersley Has New Trial Request Denied in Manchester

The mother convicted of abandoning her newborn son almost two years ago won’t be getting a new trial.
A judge has denied the request by Alexandra Eckersley and her attorneys who claim she deserves another trial because she didn’t know she was being investigated the night she left her son in a wooded area in Manchester back in 2022.
The child survived and is living with Eckersley and her mom in Massachusetts.
She’s facing up to seven years in prison during her October sentencing.
