Exeter Hospital and a New Call Center

Exeter Hospital has introduced a new call center to assist patients impacted by its planned service cuts.

The cuts, announced last month, are attributed to rising costs andExeter challenging reimbursement atmosphere.

The hospital plans to end its allergy, pediatric dental, podiatry, and neurology programs, along with its advanced life support paramedic service.

Part of that plan includes a call center to help patients reschedule appointments or transition their care to a new facility.

The attorney general’s office will review the cuts to ensure they do not violate the agreement that allowed Beth Israel Lahey Health to buy Exeter Hospital last year.

The call center is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patients can reach the center by calling 603-580-7541.
