Nighttime Work on the Spaulding Turnpike

Nighttime construction is scheduled to begin Tuesday night on the Spaulding Turnpike in Dover.

The State Department of Transportation said it will require lane closures for milling and paving over the next couple of weeks.

Weather permitting, the work will be conducted in both directions from exit 6 to the old Dover Toll Plaza from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Police officers and traffic signs will direct drivers through the work zone.
