Report Shows Homelessness Is Surging Statewide

A new report is showing that homelessness continues to be a big problem across the Granite State.

The Coalition to End Homelessness says New Hampshire had the highest percentage increase in its homeless population of any other state in the country last year.

Data is based on the number of people who experienced homelessness over a 24-hour period.

One bit of good news is the state had roughly 20-percent fewer homeless veterans in 2023.
