Two Communities to Pilot Ballot Counting Devices
Hanover and Moultonborough will pilot ballot-counting devices in tomorrow’s municipal elections.
Representatives of the manufacturers and the secretary of state’s office will be on-site in both towns.
The pilots were approved by the Ballot Law Commission as it moves toward replacing the state’s voting machines.
After the elections, on-site audits will be conducted Wednesday and a post-audit report will be given to the commission.
