FAA Releases Preliminary Report on Small Plane Crash in Gilford

The FAA has released its preliminary report on a small plane crash that happened in Gilford over the weekend.

The agency says the aircraft was trying to land at Laconia Municipal Airport Sunday night when its landing gear failed.

That led to the plane skidding off the runway and into the grass.

While the aircraft suffered serious damage, the pilot only needed treatment for minor injuries.
