Judge Dismisses Education Trust Fund Lawsuit

A Superior Court judge has dismissed a lawsuit challenging the use of Education Trust Fund money to fund the Education Freedom Account Program.

The president of the American Federation of Teachers had argued the use of trust fund money for non-public education was both illegal and unconstitutional.

Attorney General John Formella hailed the judge’s ruling to dismiss, saying it preserves the ability of New Hampshire families to have options to make the best educational choices for their children.
