Portsmouth Police Station Upgrade

Police believe that by renovating their existing station and building an addition in front of it, they can create a modern community policing facility while keeping costs close to the initial $42.2 million budget.

Police Chief Mark Newport recently told city councilors that ‘we’ve heard the message loud and clear’ they want the new station to be part of the City Hall complex on Junkins Avenue.
