Portsmouth Boy Shot And Killed On Family Vacation; Suspect Charged With Murder
(Portsmouth, NH) — An eight-year-old boy from Portsmouth has lost his life after being shot and killed while on vacation with his family.
Investigators say 40-year-old Charles Allen was randomly shooting a gun at cars in Florence, South Carolina on Monday when a bullet hit Quarius Dunham in the neck and he died.
The child was a third-grader at Little Harbour School in Portsmouth and counseling will be offered to students and staff.
Allen is facing multiple charges including murder.
