Board Approves Mayor Ruais Plans For Funding

The Board of Mayor and Aldermen has approved Manchester Mayor Jay Ruais’ plan for remaining American Rescue Act funds.

The remaining one-point-seven million dollars will go towards addressing community needs like homelessness, public safety and quality of life upgrades.

The mayor says he’s thankful that the board is supportive of these initiatives.

The city had to obligate all of the funds before the end of this year or risk losing them.
