Boy, 6, Hospitalized Following Wednesday Pedestrian Crash in Manchester

Local police are investigating last week’s pedestrian accident in Manchester that left a child hospitalized.

Police say officers were called to O’Malley Street in Elmwood Gardens shortly before 7 p.m., arriving to find a six-year-old boy with serious injuries.

The six-year-old boy was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Hospital officials say he will recover. Manchester police say the motorist remained at the crash scene and cooperated with officers.

Cause of the crash is under investigation.
