Close Call for NH Driver in ME

A 21-year-old New Hampshire woman narrowly avoided serious injury Tuesday while driving on the Maine Turnpike near Gray.

State Police said a shard of metal road debris kicked up by another vehicle smashed through and was embedded in her windshield, just inches from her face.

Troopers said she was able to pull over safely and was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
