Arrest Made For ‘School Shooter’ Signs

(Undated) — A 61-year-old Pittsfield man is facing multiple charges in connection with placing signs in various locations, including some that read “school shooter.”

State Police say Guy Hanson allegedly placed signs in Barnstead, Epsom and Pittsfield on Friday.

Police were deployed to schools in all three communities and multiple schools went into lockdown as a precaution.

Investigators determined there was no credible threat to the communities or the schools where the signs were located.
