Franklin Motorist in Custody After DUI Crash in Sanbornton

A Franklin motorist is due in court Monday to answer charges in Friday night’s pedestrian crash in Sanbornton.

Troopers say 38-year-old Kristina Perry was behind the wheel when her Audi sedan hit a disabled Volkswagen Jetta that was parked off the side of the road on Interstate 93, near Exit 22, a little before 10:30 p.m.

24-year-old Gabriel Anthony, of Pittsfield, was declared dead at the scene a short time later.

Perry, who was hospitalized with minor injuries, was later arrested for DWI.

As of last night, she was being held without bail.
