Couple in Custody After Children Found with Abuse-Type Injuries in Manchester

A couple accused of leaving two infant children alone inside their Manchester apartment for more than an hour are facing charges.

Police say 21-year-old Justice Forsythe and 18-year-old Megan Bancroft were arrested on Wednesday after two city employees doing a walkthrough of the building at 345 Lake Avenue and found the children, both of whom were less than 18 months old, displaying minor injuries consistent with abuse.

Both suspects reportedly remain in custody after each failed to post $500 bond.

A court date is pending.
