Deadly Stabbing in Durham Under Investigation

An autopsy determined that 41-year-old Alexander Talcott of Durham died from a stab wound to the neck.

He was found dead in his house on Bennett Road early Saturday morning.

The Attorney General’s Office said the investigation is ongoing including whether the person who stabbed Talcott acted in self-defense.

Authorities said everyone involved has been identified and there is no threat to the public.
