Durham UNH Poll Shows Residents Struggling to Pay Bills

The result of a brand-new poll shows there are a lot of New Hampshire residents who are struggling to pay their bills.

The BIA Report on Consumer Confidence study conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center revealed 46% of people said the financial condition of their household has worsened in the past year.

By comparison, only 15% said they’re better off now than they were 12 months ago.

The poll director says inflation has had a significant effect on the state’s economy.
