Exeter Author Drops Bail Request in Child Sex Abuse Images Case

An Exeter author remains behind bars on charges of having images of child sex abuse.

A bail hearing had been set for Wednesday for Brendan DuBois, but DuBois’ attorney ended up withdrawing that request for the time being.

The 64-year-old DuBois was arrested earlier this month on a warrant that he had dozens of explicit child sex abuse images in his possession.

He’s a New York Times best-selling author and has written 26 novels.
