Fatal Crash in Concord

Concord police are investigating a fatal head-on collision on Hopkinton Road earlier this morning. Around 7 this morning, emergency responders were sent to the area of Loop Road for a report of a crash.

EMTs arrived and requested a trauma alert at Concord Hospital for one patient, a woman in her 20s, with extensive lower body injuries. Another person was also reportedly killed in the crash.

A black Nissan sedan and a blue Mazda sedan were involved in the crash. An officer at the scene said they expected the road to be closed most of the day. Police have not identified the driver who died.
