A serious crash in Andover from more than a year ago is prompting criminal charges.
Court records show 28-year-old Lindsey Orton has been charged with a felony count of aggravated driving under the influence.
State police say Orton was on fentanyl and methadone when she caused a head-on collision along Route Eleven in October of 2022.
Orton was left with a broken jaw and several leg fractures, according to authorities.
Troopers say the driver of the other vehicle suffered a few fractured vertebrae and other injuries, while their three-year-old passenger had a broken collar bone.
Orton admitted to using opiates about five hours before the crash, according to investigators.
