Laconia Student Injured by Car in Gilford Expected to Make Full Recovery

A Laconia teenager was injured after being struck by a car in front of Wendy’s in Gilford Thursday night and is expected to make a full recovery.

The teen, identified by the Laconia School District as 11th grade student Jason McNeil, was transported to Concord Hospital-Laconia with minor injuries.

Erin Oconnell, 66, of Laconia, is charged with DUI and driving with a revoked or suspended license in relation to the accident.
