Lawmakers Planning Push For Pot Measure

NH State lawmakers are planning another push to approve a measure that’d legalize the sale of recreational marijuana.

A bill was approved by the state Senate during the latest legislative session but ended up being tabled by the House. Supporters say legalizing pot would lead to needed tax revenue for the Granite State.

However, opponents are worried taxpayers would have to cover the cost of generations of people who develop long-term health problems due to cannabis use.
